Soup Lunch at St Saviour’s
St Saviour’s parish Totland, Isle of Wight have raised over £520 by coming together and eating simply, in a bid to help transform communities around the world as part of CAFOD’s Lent campaign. During March, parishioners from St. Saviour’s have hosted a series of Lent soup lunches, continuing an annual tradition that has been taking place for at least five years. Over fifty people have attended each lunch and all have enjoyed the delicious soups on offer, from carrot and coriander to leek and potato. Please support the next soup lunches which are on Fridays 24th and 31st March and 7th April after the 12 noon mass, and all money raised will go to the East Africa Crisis Appeal.
Thank you so much to all the parishioners of St Saviour’s in Totland Bay, Isle of Wight for using our special poster during Advent to send each other messages instead of buying individual Christmas cards and using the money saved to buy World Gifts! Continue reading
