Parishioners signing Power to Be cards

Many thanks to Nadine West and the CAFOD supporters at Holy Trinity Church, Church Crookham for organising the Power to Be service and card signing at the church on Sunday 29th October.

Nadine told us that the service was very uplifting  and 38 cards were signed. The cards are asking Melanie Robinson who is the UK executive director at the World Bank to encourage the World Bank to spend more on renewable energy as it is the cheapest and most efficient way to bring power to the poorest communities. One in six people across the world still don’t have access to the energy they need to power their schools, homes and health centres. The Power to be campaign is going on until the end of the year so there is plenty of time to organise a card signing in your parish – order the cards here.
