A local Lyndhurst team of CAFOD volunteers sold over a thousand plants on Saturday 13th May to raise money to buy seeds for a community in Ethiopia that has been hit by drought.The seventh Annual Plant and Cake Sale was organised by the church of Our Lady and St. Edward, and raised the amazing amount of £3026 which is an increase on last year’s total and a new record!
The Church of Our Lady and St Edward in Lyndhurst is holding its 7th Annual Plant and Cake Sale in aid of Connect2: Ethiopia organised by Henry Rosenvinge and his team of CAFOD supporters on Saturday 13th May. There will be over 1000 flowers and vegetable plants, with garden bric-à-brac, and lots of freshly baked cakes. The sale is from 10am until 12pm at Henry’s house Dunelm, Silver Street, Emery Down in Lyndhurst. Entrance is £2 which includes tea, coffee and cake. Not to be missed! Continue reading
