10,000 Steps for 40 days Challenge

Could you join our Walk for Water Lent challenge to complete 10,000 steps each day for the 40 days of Lent? You don’t need to walk every step you can skip, dance or go up and down stairs most people do 3-4,000 steps each day just in their home so an hours walk could help you reach 10,000 steps.

Alternatively combine all the steps taken by your family or parish group to reach the daily target .One Grandma told me that although she couldn’t walk very far she would ask her grandchildren to walk her 10,000 steps for her each day .Someone else said that they would ask 40 people in their parish to do one walk of 10,000 steps during Lent and add all these walks together to complete the 40 days total of 4000,000 steps or 200 miles! Whatever way you do it please do get involved to raise money for CAFOD’s Lent appeal.

So sign up here to set up your just giving page and share the link with family, friends, fellow parishioners and on face book and twitter and social media to encourage people to sponsor you.

So far these fantastic volunteers have signed up for the challenge. Will you join them? You can donate to their just giving pages by clicking on the blue writing!
