Come to a Harvest planning meeting and hear how our local experts are tackling Climate Change.

Ivanilde lives in the Amazon Rainforest

This Harvest Family Fast Day, we are focusing on the climate crisis – a crisis that is damaging our world and will affect each and every one of us. The poorest and most vulnerable people in the world are being hit hardest by climate change at the same time as they are suffering from the impact of the pandemic. Harvests are failing, water is scarce and entire communities are finding it harder to survive in the place their call home. In the Amazon rainforest, our local experts are working with communities to replant and restore damaged forest so that they can stay and sustain their home. Their efforts are helping to protect our common home, God’s creation.

Her family are trying to protect the rainforest and replant trees.
