CAFOD in East Anglia

Ahead of the G7 and COP26 conferences, hosted by the UK in June and November, CAFOD is calling on parishioners across England and Wales to push their MPs to respond to pressing global issues of the day. Joe Savage, CAFOD in East Anglia’s new Campaigns Volunteer Coordinator, reports.

I am from St George’s Parish in Norwich and studied at Notre Dame High School, where I regularly got involved with activities to support CAFOD. I am also a Cub Scout Leader and have frequently been on HCPT pilgrimages to Lourdes with group 716. Currently in my second year at the University of Portsmouth studying International Development, I’m delighted to be spending the third year of my course volunteering with CAFOD in East Anglia and Brentwood Dioceses, focusing on CAFOD’s Campaigns and Advocacy work.
