The final few days of the Walk for Water challenge!

So only 4 days left of CAFOD’s walk for water 10,000 steps a day for Lent challenge and as we head towards Holy Week and the end of Lent. I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has taken part in the challenge and to all those who have donated . I have been bowled over by the number of walkers from the Portsmouth Diocese. I certainly didn’t think there would be such a tremendous response and so many people willing to take on the challenge!

As of yesterday we have walked 7860 miles and raised over £24,000 AMAZING!

Thank you all so much! Please click through the slide show to see some of the wonderful walkers !

  1. Yes, I have enjoyed doing this challenge for Cafod as it was one I could easily do during the Lockdown without fear of catching the virus. . I just done a retreat with the Hearts of Fire, and I was amazed to find how the two linked, finding God in every thing.on my way. it gave me time to ponder. The money we raised is not bad either ! Happy Easter every one :not long now : Bravo !
