Wow we have smashed it! Thank you so  much to everyone who has taken part in our 10,000 step challenge to walk 100 miles the length of Portsmouth Diocese .So far we have walked 182 miles with more volunteers ready to walk  maybe we can reach 200 miles and get back to Holy Rood Church in Hinksey!

We have raised 80% of our target of £2000 for CAFOD’s coronavirus appeal  so please do donate to our just giving page and help us  reach it by next weekend!


Thank you to members of the UCM at Corpus Christi Wokingham:- Kathy, Terry, Emelyn, Doreen, Frankie and Cathy and their husbands and a daughter, to Jude and Marina from St Joseph & St Edmund Southampton, to Maureen & Stuart from SS Thomas of Canterbury & St Thomas More Emsworth, to Claudia, Flora, Mary & Stephen from St Joseph & St Margaret Clitherow Bracknell, to Richard Arthur from Corpus Christi Boscombe and to Simone and Paul from Sacred Heart & St Philip Howard Fareham for completing the 10,000 step challenge!   An amazing 90 miles was walked this week so thank you all so much!

So last week we had reached Portsmouth Cathedral so from Portsmouth we take the ferry to Ryde and walk 20 miles to Our Lady & St Wilfrid in Ventnor . Then we walk to Saviours  Church Totland and take the ferry from Yarmouth to Lymington and walk to Our Lady & St Joseph’s Church about 68 miles so far.  From Lymington we walk to Corpus Christi Church in Boscombe and finally on to Sacred Heart & St Therese of Lisieux in Ringwood.
