Fantastic news from Bishop Challoner Secondary school in Basingstoke that this Lent they are raising money for community toilets. They have accepted the Lent fast day “Give it Up” challenge and are turning treats into toilets! Community toilets are a great way to stop the spread of deadly diseases like cholera and typhoid.
As you can see on the display each small toilet represents £1 raised and a large toilet represents £10 raised. So far they have raised £450 which is an amazing amount and by the end of term they have to achieve their target of £850! Don’t forget that this Lent the UK Government will double all donations so we hope you keep “giving it up” over the next few weeks and achieve your target . Many thanks to the students, staff and parents for all your support.
