Many thanks to Richard Tudor for organising our last Lent fast day briefing  at English Martyrs Church Reading last night and a HUGE THANK YOU  to all those who attended. A total of 92 people have attended a Lent fast day briefing over the last few weeks which is fantastic. Thank you so much for giving up your time to come and find about our work in Zimbabwe and how you can support the Lent fast day appeal.

I would like to thank you in advance for speaking at mass , handing out the envelopes and supporting Lent fast day on Friday 23rd February. I am very grateful for all your support, and I would like to share with you a quote from Marian, a mother from Zimbabwe whose life has changed because of your support of previous fast days.

“I’m very grateful to CAFOD supporters for what they’ve done. You have been a bridge from a place of suffering to a better world. If I were to meet you, it would be such a blessing. I’d like to ask you, what drives you to give to others? Is it your kindness?”
