Come to a Lent Briefing to Find About How We Are Fighting Malnutrition

You are invited to  one of our Lent Fast Day briefings to find out more about CAFOD’s work on malnutrition. Did you know that across the world malnutrition kills almost 3 million children every year? When a child doesn’t get enough food their bodies become weak and they are unable to fight off common infections and diseases.

Also great news we have matched funding! . So for the Lent fast day appeal the government will match fund up to £5 million for donations received from 13th February to 12th May.

At our Lent briefings we will tell you how CAFOD’s partners in Zimbabwe are helping families grow enough food and a variety of food so that the risk of malnutrition among children is reduced. We have 4 briefings at different times and locations in the diocese to ensure that as many people as possible can hear about our work this Lent  and help to raise £5 million!

8 February 7:15pm to 9:15pm English Martyrs Church 64 Liebenrood road Reading RG30 2EB

Please book your place at which ever meeting is most convenient to you by emailing portsmouth@cafod.org.uk or call 01252 329385

  1. Hi Jo Just to book my place at the Lent briefing on 3rd Frbruary at St Bedes. It is tremendous news that Cafod is getting UK Aid Match – the 4th time I think. That shows how much the Govt. values Cafod’s work. Well done. Rita

PS I’m attaching my Christmas card.

    God bless

    Rita
