Volunteers from The Catenian Ascociation are very generously organising their sixth special Golf Day this summer in aid of CAFOD. The event will take place on Friday 7 July 2017 at 12.30pm at Dummer Golf ClubDown Street, Dummer, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG25 2AD.   If you enjoy a round of golf and would like to support our work across the world – this is the event for you!

Organiser, Dave Mc Kenna told us,

“The format is for teams of 3 golfers with stableford scoring. It is aimed at being a “fun day” and enjoyable for all golfers.

“Prizes will be awarded for best individual and team scores. Mixed team entries are acceptable. In addition there will be individual challenges of two ‘Nearest the Pin’ competitions.  Club handicaps apply with a maximum of 28 for men and 36 for ladies.

“There will be a cold buffet dinner in the club restaurant after the golf. The entry fee, including the meal, is £49.50 per person for 18 holes or £37.50 for 9 holes.

Dummer Golf Club course is situated in a relatively level area and should suit all golfers. It is well maintained and on certain holes offers splendid views of Hampshire. The aim of the day is fun for all! Let’s hope the weather is kind to us, as in previous years.

Please continue to support CAFOD and get in touch as soon as possible!”

Thank you so much everyone!
