This photo is of Havant Fairtrade group which includes two parishioners and CAFOD supporters Maureen Thompson and Jim Graham presenting Havant borough Mayor Faith Ponsonby the renewed Fairtrade Borough Award in front of the whole council, timed to coincide with this years Fairtrade Fortnight. As well as the photo opportunity Maureen was invited to make a deputation to the full council to speak up against exploitation and to promote fairness for many of the worlds poorest farmers and workers and thank councillors for their support.
