CAFOD Portsmouth Masses of Remembrance

You are warmly invited to our CAFOD Portsmouth Masses of Remembrance. This year there will be two Masses held over one weekend in the parish of Aldershot.  The first Mass will be at 4.45pm on Saturday 19 November at St Mary’s Church, Belle Vue Road, Aldershot GU12 4RX and the second Mass will be held at 10.30am on Sunday 20 November at St Joseph’s Church, Queens Road, Aldershot GU11 3JB.

Please note that these will be the regular Saturday Vigil and Sunday Masses of the parish. However our Book of Remembrance will be included as part of the offertory procession and prayers will be offered in memory of all CAFOD supporters who have passed away.

We would be honoured if you would join us in commemorating the wonderful people who’ve touched our lives and whose spirit and values live on in our work today.

Please note that there is limited parking at both venues. However there is parking on nearby streets at St Mary’s and parking at either the town centre car parks near St Joseph’s or at the nearby Morrisons. Directions can be provided on request.

Refreshments will be served after the service at St Joseph’s on Sunday. (I’m afraid there is no room to offer teas and coffees at St Mary’s on the Saturday as we do not have a church hall here.)

We appreciate, of course, that not everyone will be able to attend but may still wish for a loved one to be included in our Book of Remembrance.  If you would like us to remember and pray for a loved one, please send us names by 14 November 2016.

If you have any questions at all about the Mass or any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you and hopefully to seeing you at one of the Masses.
