Have you ever thought about the possibility of selling virtual cakes as well as real ones?? This ingenious idea came from a fantastic pupil at St John the Baptist RC primary school in Andover!
Last Friday, one of our youngest supporters hosted her own cake sale from home and invited her friends and neighbours to come along. With help from her mum she baked some delicious cakes and biscuits and managed to raise an amazing £99.20 for CAFOD!! How terrific! Well done!
Some of the donations came from the sale of her very own ‘virtual cakes’ which were made available to her relations who lived too far away to attend the cake sale! Great idea!
She also let her Brownie leader ‘Brown Owl’ know about the cake sale, and was very surprised to be awarded with her ‘Fundraising Badge’. Congratulations!
Thank you so much!
