Walking the Way of St James

Camino Walk for WINGS and CAFOD

Our BIG thanks to Dr Nick Paluch from Guernsey, whose very generous friends, colleagues and patients helped him raise more than £1,000 for his 125km walk of the Camino de Santiago (The Way of St James) in Northern Spain.  Thank you Nick!  Nick told us:

“Walking at times in driving wind and rain made me realise how extremely difficult life must be for all the families fleeing the war in Syria and the money I’m raising is being forwarded to the WINGS (World in Need Guernsey) Appeal for Syrian refugees to be used by CAFOD and Caritas Internationalis in the camps in Jordan.”

Thank you Nick for completing such a grueling challenge in pretty awful weather! And thank you to all Nick’s friends, colleagues and patients for supporting him for such a worthwhile cause.
