Multi-Sensory Prayer Evening in Fleet

Holy Trinity and Our Lady Fleet Multi-Sensory Prayer Evening Oct 2015If there was a ‘most imaginative’ parish award – I think Holy Trinity & Our Lady in Fleet would surely win it!  The parish recently held a special multi-sensory prayer evening with a specific emphasis on the environment using visual and interactive displays.

CAFOD volunteer, Michael Pengelly told us,

“During the evening people also signed the Global Catholic Climate Movement petition and made Live Simply pledges to reduce their own carbon footprints.”

The parish has also gained support for the climate petition from the whole Christian community in Fleet, Church Crookham and Hartley Witney – which has enabled them to obtain 170 signatures!  They will now send a copy of the petition to their MP. Fantastic!

Thanks to Michael for letting us know about the event and for sharing these photos with us.
