Romero Remembered at St Peter’s Primary

Romero Cross St Peter's primary Winchester

Thank you to Mr Beo from St Peter’s Catholic primary school in Winchester for sending in this lovely Romero Cross created by one of your pupils!

Earlier in the month our Education Volunteer, Rosemary Peacock, visited the school to deliver an assembly on the life and work of Blessed Oscar Romero and afterwards the children created their own ‘Romero Cross’ featuring all the people in their lives that they love and treasure.  This one is now in Mr Beo’s office and the staff room!

Thank you everyone at St Peter’s for your fantastic support for all our work.  The school’s mission statement is that famous quotation from Romero ‘Aspire not to have more but to be more’. Terrific!
