O how great do they look? You know I love a good costume! CAFOD volunteer and Fairtrade Ambassador, Maureen Thompson sent us this fantastic photo of the Mayor of Havant handing out Fairtrade bananas to staff on their way to work on Tuesday at Public Service Plaza! The Mayor was helping launch Fairtrade Fortnight of course (23 February – 8 March ) and this was just one of the super events the Havant Fairtrade Group have organised over the next two weeks!
Maureen told us:
“I’m part of the Havant Fairtrade Group, which has representatives from other charities and churches who support Fairtrade events right across Havant. We’d urge everyone in Havant to take a look at our programme and join in! There are so many ways you can take part!”
