O how much fun do they look like they’re having!!! Fantastic! Thank you so much to everyone at St Paul’s primary in Tilehurst, Reading for holding a Big Silly Share Day in aid of CAFOD Harvest Fast Day today!!!
Today schools all over the Portsmouth diocese will be learning some silly facts about our global food system and reflecting on the fact that, although there is enough food in our world, right now one in eight people are still hungry. That doesn’t make sense, does it? It’s silly!
Pupils from St Paul’s have come together today to celebrate the Big Silly Share and acknowledge that although the food system is silly – they’re serious about doing something to change it!
Classes decided to dress up in their silliest costumes & onesies and raised £276.14 to support our work which will help families all over the world have enough food today and tomorrow.
Thank you so much everyone! And thank you Linda Heneghan, our super Education Volunteer for visiting them today and sending us these fabulous photos!!!
