Fantastic CAFOD volunteer, Henry Rosenvinge, and parishioners at Our Lady and St Edward sold a wide variety of plants and homemade cakes in the scenic surroundings of Bartley Manor.
Henry said: “It’s always a really pleasant parish social event – a chance to meet people and get plenty of plants, flowers and vegetables.
“Divine intervention must have been obtained as the rain stopped for just 4 hours that morning and the sun came out to make the whole experience so much more enjoyable. We were able to raise over £1300 for Connect2:Ethiopia as well as inform visitors CAFOD’s vital work. The volunteer team are already planning next year’s event!
“I’d like to thank everyone who came along and all the volunteers who worked so hard on the day. We’re especially grateful to parishioners, Anne and John de Trafford, for so generously hosting the event and providing such a beautiful venue.”
We can see how lovely it is from these photos!
Thank you so much everyone!
