St Joseph’s College Remembers a Special Teacher

Front page

Our huge thanks to all the pupils and teachers at St Joseph’s College in Reading who presented me with a cheque last Thursday for £1,000 in memory of their much loved colleague and teacher Mr Kevin Jordan.

CAFOD was one of Mr Jordan’s chosen charities so during assembly we reflected on the ethos and work of the agency, its emergency programmes (with specific mention of our current work in the Philippines), our long term development projects and the importance of our campaigns which aim to build a fairer world.

I would like to thank Mr Robson (Deputy Head) and Mr Colpus (Headteacher) for inviting me to speak to the school and for making me feel so welcome.  The school’s support is very dear to us and we are incredibly grateful to everyone for raising this money to assist our partners across the world.   Thank you all.
