St John the Baptist’s Big Share

A big ‘hello’ and ‘thank you’ to all our friends at the lovely St John the Baptist primary school in Andover for sending us these photos from their Big Share event!

Teacher Liz Harwood told us;

“We had a multicultural baking day where all the children and parents were invited to bring food from their own cultures and children then sold them all at the end of the day. We managed to raise £162 and a cheque has been sent to CAFOD.”

“The children were dressed as Welsh maids as they had made Welsh cakes.  We also had Indian food (baked bananas) soda bread, Maltese bread, French cakes and Spanish cakes too.”

It sounds absolutely wonderful!   Thank you so much everyone for letting us know and for raising such a fantastic amount of money for our partners around the world.  You are superstars!
