Leigh Park team gets ready for Great South Run!

The St Michael and All Angels GSR team!

Parish priest Fr Paul Leonard and 4 more parishioners (Lucy Reilly, Christiano Chalmers, Gavin Salvesen-Sawh and Richard Phiri) from St Michael and All Angels’ parish in Leigh Park, Waterlooville, have teamed up to take part in the Great South Run together this year to support CAFOD!

We are delighted that a whole team of parishioners have decided to join forces. Fr Paul is no stranger to challenges in aid of CAFOD! As you might remember, he took part in the Three Peaks Challenge in 2010 and the Endurance Walk in 2011, raising thousands of pounds! We are thrilled that he has decided to enrol in a challenge again this year – and persuade other parishioners to join him! If you would like to donate to “Fr Paul ‘n his crew“, visit their dedicated justgiving page.

We look forward to welcoming them and all our other runners at the Great South Run on 28 October! The deadline for registration has now been extended until 9am on Monday 15 October, so if you are thinking of joining our “50 years, 50 runners” team, we would love to hear from you.
