“The Slave Next Door” – Human Trafficking Workshop in Waterlooville

The Justice and Peace group at the Sacred Heart parish in Waterlooville is organising a special workshop focusing on human trafficking.

The event, called “The Slave Next Door“, will be held at the church of the Sacred Heart and St Peter the Apostle, 356 London Road, Waterlooville PO7 7SR, from 11am to 1pm on Saturday 30 June.

The free workshop will explore the modern day slave trade and look at ways in which we can combat the practice of human trafficking. A representative from Hampshire Police and the local MP for Meon Valley will be present at the event.

Doors open at 10.30am, refreshments will be available. The event is free but donations welcome. For more information, please contact justiceandpeacewaterlooville@aol.co.uk
