Don’t drop the ball – a special CAFOD talk

Our Don’t drop the ball campaign, calling on George Osborne to show international leadership on climate finance for the poorest ahead of the Durban climate talks in November, is now in full swing – thanks to all those who have already taken action or ordered cards to distribute in their parishes!

If you live in the Reading area, make sure you do not miss a very special evening focusing on climate change and the campaign with Sarah Wykes, our Lead Analyst for Environment and Climate Change. The event is part of Reading International Festival, and it will take place on Wednesday 26 October at 7.30pm at Our Lady & St Anne Parish Hall, South View Avenue, Caversham, Reading, RG4 5AB. For more info contact us or Clare Palmer on 0118 947 3117.

It will be a great chance to get a proper insight on the issues behind the campaign from an expert in the field! We hope as many of you as possible will be able to come along. A poster for the event can be downloaded here. No booking required, but if you are planning to come along – it would be great if you could let us know! Please spread the word with friends and family! We hope to see you there.
