Great celebration at St Theresa, Totton!

The Totton CAFOD team and the celebration cake!

Take a look at this fantastic picture – courtesy of Maria Elena from the Campaigns team 🙂

Maria Elena visited the parish of St Theresa of the Child Jesus in Totton this Harvest Fast Day. She reports:

“Parish contact Edna Wharton (second from left in the picture) had decided to link the 50th anniversary of CAFOD’s Fast Day with St Theresa of the Child Jesus feast day at Totton, as well as Harvest Fast Day. I was invited along to speak at the weekend masses and to be guest of honour at their Parish Feast Day party on the evening of the Saturday 2 October, which included the showing of CAFOD’s new short film Your Kingdom Come. Edna is seen here surrounded by other members of CAFOD team at St Theresa with the lovely anniversary cake baked and donated by another parishioner. The parish priest Rev Kevin O’Brien and I even cut the cake together! There was even cake leftover for Sunday morning coffee time after Mass – with another showing of Your Kingdom Come!”

A huge thanks from us to all the CAFOD group at Totton and to Maria Elena – for the great event and for the photo… shame we could not get a piece of cake too 😉
