St Edmund Campion in Maidenhead was the first parish in the Diocese to take action in support of our recently launched Act on Poverty campaign this weekend!
The action was organised by the parish Justice and Peace group – a “No 10 door” was built using the templates included in the campaign action pack, and parishioners were invited to sign the cards in the church porch after all the Masses. It was a success with 125 cards collected on the day and some more taken home! We also prayed for the success of the campaign in the bidding prayers.
Thanks very much to everyone who took part! Remember you can also take the action online here.
