Pupils from St Joseph’s Primary school in Aldershot have been very busy this Lent with CAFOD and Fairtrade activities. Lent Fast Day itself was marked by a soup and roll lunch held in the school.
Also, the school held a Fairtrade Art Week during which pupils from years 5 and 6 made mosaics – a wondeful example can be seen in the picture above! Black represents the soil in which the children plant their seeds, the green stands for life, brown for crops and blue for the warmth from the sky. Isnt’ that great? Well done to St Joseph’s school for their creativity and generosity!
