Visiting partners in Bangladesh

From the 3rd of May until the 17th, Martin will be visiting our partners in Bangladesh to hear about all the work that YOU, our supporters, have made possible. CAFOD has been working with partners in Bangladesh since 1986 on projects including sustainable agriculture, gender development and disaster relief work such as the response to Cyclone SIDR in 2007. One of our main partners, Caritas Bangladesh, has seven regional offices and reaches mainly the landless poor, marginalised ethnic communities, children, youth, women, disabled and elderly people. Martin has been very excited about the trip and looks forward to reporting his findings to anyone who will listen. So if you would like to invite him to your local groups and parishes to give a talk on his first-hand experiences, please do get in touch, we’d love to hear from you – and hearing “real” stories from partners on the ground is one of the best ways to generate interest in CAFOD’s work and to thank supporters for all their generosity as well!
