Stars of the evening: the Ocean Harmony male choir
On Saturday 14 January, Waterside parish held a special evening event to celebrate CAFOD’s 50th anniversary!
Parishioner Angela Slattery, one of the organisers, said:
“We were enthralled and entertained by the beautiful voices and harmonies of Ocean Harmony – a male voice choir who gave us a variety of songs. We shared an American Supper together and showed the Your Kingdom Come DVD. We also had a raffle which raised £197 for Cafod! It was a lovely evening to lighten the long winter nights”.
A big thanks to our local contacts Louise and Angela and to everybody involved to make the evening a success! It sounds like it was definitely great fun! Thanks to everyone who took part!
